Dawki is the gateway to Bangladesh where major export and import transactions take place. It is a splendid drive of 45 kilometers passing through deep gorges and ravines, which is certainly a thrilling experience. In local, Dawki is known as the Wah Umngot river, The Umngot river is the natural boundary between RiPnar or Jaintia Hills with HimaKhyrim of Khasi hills over which is a single span suspension bridge was constructed. Kaziranga is located almost 200+ KM from Guwahati, covering an area of 430 sq-kms, is inhabited by the world's largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses, and many mammals including tigers, elephants, panthers and bears, and thousands of birds. In 1985, it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its unique natural environment. Go to bed early for the next day early morning Kaziranga Safari.
